Application

White or colorless fransparent rhomb lamdllar crystal,relative density in 1.52,melting point in 125.6°C and boiling point in 240°C more easily air slaking,diluted slightly in cool water,decomposition and a atrong acidity in hot water,corrosive to glass ,also to skin ,dangerous!

 White orthorhombic crystallization, slight acid, easily deliquescent in the air, soluble in water very easily. Its liquor is strong acid and poisonous, which can erode glass.

Function

1.Ammonium bifluoride is corrosive to glass and skin.

2. It can be used as chemical reagent, glass etchant (together with hydrofluoric acid), disinfectant and preservatives in fermentation industry, solvent for metal beryllium preparation with beryllium oxide and surface treating agent for silicon steel plate.

3.it can also be used to manufacture ceramic, magnesium alloy, cleaning and descaling of boiler feed system and vapor generating system as well as acidation of oil sand, as one component of alkylation, isomerization catalyst.

4.It is used to refine beryllium, make electric welding rod, cast steel, preserve wood etc.

5.mainly used as glass etching agents (together with fluohydric acid) in the production of etched glass.

6.It also can be utilized as a chemical agent, disinfection and antiseptic agent in fermentation industry, solvent in making beryllium from beryllia and the surface treating agent of silicon steel plate.

7.it's used in ceramic, magnesium alloy, the detergent in boiler feed water system and steam-generating system, acidizing of the sandstone in oil well, and the catalyzer of alkylation isomerization.
